TTPOA in conjunction with DFW Airport DPS is proud to bring back the 2 day Behavioral Observation and Suspicious Activity Recognition course brought to you by the Massachusetts State Police.    BOSAR is a strategic interactive security platform utilized in public settings with the intent to identify and disrupt individuals with hostile intent.  Participants successfully completing the BOSAR training program learn to recognize the subtle behavioral characteristics of individuals possessing the intent to engage in hostile behavior; to include the execution of violent and terrorist motivated acts.  These techniques can be of significant importance to law enforcement officers and investigators while operating at large scale public events, securing critical infrastructure, or conducting day to day patrol functions. 

MSP instructor cadre will lead this class via both classroom and in-the-field surveillance activity based on a model developed by the NYPD.

Class will begin at 0800 hours at 1533 W. 27th Street, DFW Airport, 75261.

Prerequisites:

All attendees MUST be current law enforcement officers.  ID checks will be conducted on the first day of class, no exceptions.

Required equipment:

Students will only need note taking supplies and dress will be plain clothes attire.  You will be in and around the public so fit in for the season and location.

Costs and additional info:

Tuition for this class is $250.  Payment via credit card is recommended at time of registration.  Payment via check made out to TTPOA, can be mailed to Sgt. Marc Wewee, DFW Airport DPS, PO Drawer 610687, DFW Airport, TX 75261.
